Conference Speakers

Dr. Tom Schreiner is an Associate Dean for the School of Theology and the James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Professor of Biblical Theology. Prior to joining Southern, he taught New Testament at Azusa Pacific University. He also taught at Bethel Theological Seminary for 11 years. Schreiner is a Pauline scholar who has written extensively on this subject. He is married to Diane and they have four children. Schreiner is a member of Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, THE TIMOTHY TRUSTJonathan is Executive Director of the Timothy Trust and President of Heritage College and Seminary. His daily radio program, Encounter the Truth, is heard widely in Canada and the United States. He serves on the Council of the Gospel Coalition Canada. Jonathan is deeply committed to expository Bible ministry and loves to train and encourage Bible teachers.

Teaching Fellow, THE TIMOTHY TRUSTDavid Short is the retired rector of St. John’s Vancouver Anglican Church in Vancouver, British Columbia, and a Council member of The Gospel Coalition. He is also the founder and head of the Artizo Institute, which aims to fill Canada with the sound of God's Word by equipping future ministers to faithfully teach and preach God's Word. He served in the Anglican Church in Australia for 10 years, then came to Canada to serve in the Anglican church. He has been faithfully serving in Canada for over 30 years. Before moving to Canada, David served parishes in New South Wales, Australia. He is a humble servant of Christ and a pastor to pastors.

Dr. Philip Graham Ryken is the eighth president of Wheaton College, where he studied English literature and philosophy. Dr. Ryken earned a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and a doctorate in historical theology from the University of Oxford. He preached at Philadelphia’s historic Tenth Presbyterian Church from 1995 until his appointment at Wheaton in 2010. President Ryken has published more than 50 Bible commentaries and other books and serves as a board member for The Gospel Coalition and the National Association of Evangelicals. He has traveled to more than 40 countries on 7 continents to teach and preach the gospel.

There are restaurants surrounding the conference location, which we will be sure to provide an easily accessible list of. Snacks and beverages will be available at different times throughout the main level of the venue.
