2026 National Conference

Join us in May 2026 in Cambridge, Ontario for our 4th annual Timothy Trust National Conference, with Philip Ryken, President of Wheaton College, & Thomas R. Schreiner, Professor and Associate Dean for the School of Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary!

This year’s conference theme is Him we Proclaim - Preaching Christ in All of Scripture. This conference looks to refresh and encourage Bible teachers and preachers through model expository preaching by our keynote speakers.

Conference Speakers

  • Dr. Tom Schreiner is an Associate Dean for the School of Theology and the James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Professor of Biblical Theology. Prior to joining Southern, he taught New Testament at Azusa Pacific University. He also taught at Bethel Theological Seminary for 11 years. Schreiner is a Pauline scholar who has written extensively on this subject. He is married to Diane and they have four children. Schreiner is a member of Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.


  • EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, THE TIMOTHY TRUST

    Jonathan is Executive Director of the Timothy Trust and Lead Pastor at The Met in Ottawa. His daily radio program, Encounter the Truth, is heard widely in Canada and the United States. He serves on the Council of the Gospel Coalition Canada. Jonathan is deeply committed to expository Bible ministry and loves to train and encourage Bible teachers.

  • Dr. Philip Graham Ryken is the eighth president of Wheaton College, where he studied English literature and philosophy. Dr. Ryken earned a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and a doctorate in historical theology from the University of Oxford. He preached at Philadelphia’s historic Tenth Presbyterian Church from 1995 until his appointment at Wheaton in 2010. President Ryken has published more than 50 Bible commentaries and other books and serves as a board member for The Gospel Coalition and the National Association of Evangelicals. He has traveled to more than 30 countries on 6 continents to teach and preach the gospel.

    Dr. Ryken met his wife Lisa during their first few days at the College. The Rykens have five children and two grandchildren.

FAQ

  • This conference is open to both men and women. There is a specific aim to encourage Bible teachers at any stage, whether in the home, in a small group, or on Sunday morning. We want to encourage current and aspiring Bible teachers.

    An example of someone who can attend would be a lay or vocational elder, a small group leader, a person in vocational ministry, a ministry leader, a missionary, a pastor, a seminary student, a university or college student, and/or a church congregant.

  • The conference will be two half days and one full day (Monday at 2pm to Wednesday at 12pm).

  • We are currently working on hotel blocks and room options for attendees.

  • There are 2 ticket options that are available for purchase - one with meals and one without meals. Attendees without meals will have options near the conference location to purchase their own food.

  • The conference will start Monday at 2pm and end Wednesday at 12pm. A detailed schedule will be released closer to the conference.
