About

This summer school event helps attendees gain the right tools for studying, handling, and teaching God's Word. This is a four-day summer course with the Timothy Trust. Our leaders want to help you in the best way possible to be better expository preachers and better at handling the Word of God.

Purpose: The aim of this Summer School is to give you a snapshot of what the Timothy Course offers. It is also to give you the basic tools needed for studying God's Word.

Expositions

We believe that workshop groups are an essential component of the conference and that this is where the most effective work is done. There will be one introductory session and two working sessions for workshops, where registrants will work through various passages in the gospel accounts.

Aim: Diligent exegesis with an opportunity to share some encouragement and helpful feedback with other students.

These are not intended to be stressful, polished talks, or exhaustive treatments of the passage. They are preliminary thoughts on the big idea of the passage and the structure.

Students will be thoroughly equipped for their first exposition workshop. No previous Bible teaching experience is needed.
